After the final implants are in place, do they ever need to be removed by a dentist for cleaning?
No, once the permanent teeth are fitted over the implants there is no need to remove them unless the denture is damaged in some way and needs to be replaced, which is not common at all since permanent dentures are as strong as natural teeth or even more.
