Dentist and staff can speak English fluently and can be considered as native speakers. The prices are very affordable and everyone is caring and helpful. Budapest is known as one of the most beautiful cities in Europe and has a lot to offer for the tourists. The city is definitely a must-see. Here is my Dental Tourism story. It doesn't matter if you have Dental Insurance or don't have one. In Germany prices for dental treatment are unreasonably high. I broke a crown before Christmas, went to Dr. Winkleman dental office. I payed 60 Euris only for an exam, and was told that to replace the crown I had to pay 800 Euros. So I decided to go for dental tourism, and choose Hungary, where for 300 Euros I got an exam, two fillings and a crown replacement. For the tickets I payed 204$ both ways Stuttgart - Budapest. The Jimi Hendrix Guest House for 3 nights charged me 74 Euros (103$). 25$ was the ride from the airport, 15$ for the transport in Budapest. For the installation of my crown I came back on Presodents dat. I payed 193$ (first class train), Silver Hotel - 31$ per night. All in I spend about 1100$ for the crown, two fillings, exams and amazing 4days vacations in Budapest.
The clinic was very clean with modern equipment and professional dentist. The dentist told me that his clinic is one of the best and expensive in Budapest.
Hungarians and Budapest stole my heart. Everyone is very nice and always ready to help you. Seemed like everyone could fluently speak English. The prices for food are very cheap.
To sum up Budapest is a perfect place to go if you need dental treatment but do not have insurance. And even if do not need dental treatment, Budapest is an amazing place to visit!
