Dr. Turan Acar’s professional life started with Eskişehir Osmangazi University.
After his graduation, he started his general surgery specialization at İzmir Katip Çelebi University Atatürk Training and Research Hospital, which was his first choice in the medical specialization exam. After completing his specialization in 2014, he continued to work as a general surgeon in the same institution.
In February 2018, he joined İzmir Katip Çelebi University, Department of General Surgery as a doctoral faculty member.
Receiving the title of associate professor in November 2020, Dr. Acar still carries out general surgery practices and scientific studies, mainly colon and rectum diseases surgery, in the same institution, and also takes part in the educational activities of medical faculty and medical specialty students.
