Should I get a breast reduction?

A breast reduction candidate struggles with one of more of the problems below:

• having excessively heavy breasts / large breasts;
• experiencing neck pain, back pain, shoulder pain due to large breasts;
• frequent rashes under breast;
• problems with fitting underwear and clothes;
• poor self image caused by large breasts.

We need to note that breast reduction can be considered only when breasts are fully developed. So, teenagers with already big breasts might not be qualified for the surgery and advised to wait until breasts are fully grown. Breast reduction is one of only a few plastic surgeries that are often medically necessary – too big breasts cause much physical discomfort and health problems, so the surgery can not only fix psychological health (e.g. increase self-confidence) or appearance, but also improve physical health and prevent or treat health problems.
