When can I have a bath after breast reduction?
Taking a shower with a gentle washcloth after breast reduction is possible a day after the bandages and drains are removed. It may be 1-3 days after the surgery. However, taking a bath, using pools or jacuzzies is forbidden for at least 4 weeks. In general, long soaking is not recommended. Patients may use dry shampoo or sponge bath for the time they cannot bathe.
