What are immediate dentures?
An immediate denture, also known as a temporary denture is an appliance that your dentist could suggest you if you had a full teeth extraction since you will have to wait several weeks or even months till you get your permanent dentures, that way you can eat and talk properly while you wait. Dentists won’t usually suggest immediate dentures if these are not necessary but you can ask for one if you want to. At the end of the day, it is a personal choice.
