How long does BBL last?
The new fat cells inserted in the buttocks last forever, so your BBL result is long lasting. It may take some time, up to 3 months, for the cells to bond correctly. Very occasionally the cells do not bond and the surgeon may have to repeat the procedure, however this rarely happens. These fat cells, now part of the buttock, however, can be affected by any of the usual things which influence body shape i.e. weight gain and weight loss. Any weight fluctuation may enlarge or diminish the buttocks. It is best to maintain a stable weight.
