How long to recover from breast augmentation?
When patients follow post-operative instructions enabling smooth recovery, the recovery time after breast implants should not exceed 2 months. Of course patients live normally a few weeks after the procedure, but the full physical recovery (e.g. bruising or swelling) is reached within 2 months. Just scarring takes longer to heal. The scars are formed within 1-2 years, and only after this time we can see whether scar tissue healed correctly or there have been thick scarring developed.
