What is breast augmentation?

Breast enlargement (known as breast augmentation, boob job, or breast implants) is a plastic surgery where a plastic surgeon increases the size of women’s breasts by putting special breast implants or transferring fat to breasts. This cosmetic surgery allows for increasing the size, projection and fullness of breasts, improving the breast contour balance and enhancing self-confidence. When it comes to increasing the breasts size, breast enlargement surgery with implants is used. It is the most common and the most effective breast augmentation method.

In plastic surgery breast implants, various breast implants types can be used – they include saline breast implants, structured saline breast implants, silicone implants, and form-stable implants. Breast implants plastic surgery is dedicated to women, but breast implants for men can also be applied – it is just much less common that men need such implants.
