When can I wear a normal bra after breast augmentation?
When can I stop wearing a bra after breast augmentation?
A special surgical compression bra is worn for about 2 weeks all the time day and night. After that time, a surgeon may agree that patients replace it with a normal supportive bra. Such a supportive front closure bra should be well-fitted so that it fulfills its function. It should be worn for another 2 weeks. So, these are 4 weeks of constant wearing of a supportive bra. After that time, women can stay braless for some time, e.g a few hours a day. A surgeon gives specific instructions of how and when to wear a supportive bra and it is important that the time of not wearing a bra isn’t longer than recommended by a surgeon
