How long after breast reduction can I drink alcohol?

The rule is: the longer breast reduction patients abstain from drinking alcohol, the better. Side effects of consuming alcohol may include bad wound healing, blood vessels dilation or bleeding, so to minimize the potential post-op complications, patients should not drink alcohol during their recovery.

However, it is said that the minimum time of abstaining from alcohol is 5 days after the surgery. Of course, as long as patients take medications (antibiotics, prescribed or over the counter medications), alcohol is strictly forbidden. Alcohol interactions with drugs may be very dangerous to health or even life.
