What to wear after breast reduction surgery?

First of all, post breast surgery bras are the most important element of clothing for patients for at least 6 weeks. A surgical bra needs to be worn all the time, day and night for a specific time recommended by a surgeon. Over time, patients can add simple sport or supportive breast surgery bra (the same as bras for breast implants).

Regarding other clothing aspects than a bra, patients are advised to prepare loose clothes with a zip or buttons as it may be hard to raise arms at the beginning. So loose shirts, hoodie, pants are recommended. After about 2 weeks, patients can wear any clothes, they just need to remember about post-surgical bra.
