How are dental crowns fitted?
The tooth on which the crown is to be placed must be previously prepared by removing a portion of the dental enamel until the tooth becomes a pillar on which the artificial crown will fit, once the permanent crown is ready, it is assembled on the tooth using special cement. In some cases, the tooth may require a root canal treatment if any type of infection is detected. When it comes to an implant crown, the crown is simply fitted onto the metal abutment.
