Are dental implants painful?

The implants surgery is performed under anaesthesia, so you shouldn’t feel any pain, but it is normal to feel discomfort and inflammation after the anaesthesia effect ends, fortunately, your dentist will prescribe you some medication to minimize the discomfort of the days following the surgery. Once the screw is integrated into your bone and the dental crown is fitted you should not feel any kind of pain or discomfort in any situation, if you feel some of that, you need to visit your dentist.
