How are dental implants fitted?
To get a dental implant fitted, you must undergo a surgery where the dentist implants a screw into your jawbone to start the osseointegration process, once this process is complete (it will take from 3 to 6 months) your dentist will fit an artificial crown that matches the colour and shape of your natural teeth. However, your dentist will provide you with a temporary dental crown if they consider it necessary whether it is for aesthetics or functionality while you wait for the permanent crown.
