How long does it take to get dentures after impressions?
Once your dentist takes impressions of your mouth, these will be sent to the lab where the dental technician will take one or two days to get a model made of wax of how your denture might look, your dentist will call you for a “try-in” and if everything fits well, the model will be sent back to the lab for the technician to make the final denture. After 2 or 3 days your denture will be ready and your dentist will call you to start the fitting process, if everything goes well you will walk out of the clinic with your new denture. This is the time the laboratory takes to get your denture done but you should take into consideration that the whole process of getting a denture can be longer if you need any previous treatment like tooth extraction.
