Dr.Hidayet Çatal was born at 1963 in Yalvaç, Isparta. He is specialized in obesity and diabetes treatment. The doctor graduated from Izmir 9 Eylul University Faculty of Medicine. He did his specialization in General Surgery in SSK Tepecik Training and Research Hospital. He started his career in 1992 in Izmir SSK Tepecik Training and Research Hospital. Next, he improved his skills in Private Tınaztepe Hospital in 2010. In the following years, he worked at Private Ege Sehir Hospital, and currently working at Private Medifema Hospital in Izmir. He is a scientist as well. He has been doing his research in the field of bariatric & metabolic surgeries. He has presented his outstanding findings at various international conferences and symposiums.
