Can you drink alcohol with gastric band?
Ideally, people having gastric band should cease alcohol drinking just because it is unhealthy and contains empty calories. Also, alcohol may trigger appetite causing people to overeat. However, once gastric band patients achieve the desired weight and their diet is shaped, they may drink alcohol – but only from time to time and with some moderations.
