What is labia reconstruction surgery?

Labia reconstructive surgery is another name for labiaplasty. As the name suggests, it aims at reconstructing the labia minora and labia majora. The main indications for labia reconstruction are congenital effects (e.g. vaginal atresia, Müllerian agenesis) or changes of labia after childbirth (e.g. some women experience enlarged labia after childbirth).
