Rhinoplasty recovery will depend o a certain extent on what exactly has been done and on the body’s own ability to heal quickly. Dressings, stitches and the nose splint will stay in place for about a week and after that a nose job recovery is relatively swift. Most patients can return to work in about three weeks.

When it comes to the full rhinoplasty recovery time, i.e. the final result of the procedure, this will take a little more time. A difference in the size/shape of the nose should be apparent after about a month, however, because the soft tissues in the nose hold swelling for a long time, the final new nose contours will only appear after several months – up to a year even.
